Get a quoteAluminium bifolding doors are a popular choice for homeowners wanting a seamless connection between indoor living spaces and the outdoors. These doors fold back in a concertina style, fully opening your home to the garden or patio. Whether hosting gatherings or enjoying fresh air, bifold doors transform your space with flexibility. A major advantage of aluminium bifold doors is their ability to maximise natural light. Their strength supports large glass panels while maintaining slim frames, providing uninterrupted outdoor views, even when closed. This sleek design ensures your home feels bright and spacious. In addition to aesthetics, aluminium bifold doors are highly functional. They create open-plan living areas, connecting indoor and outdoor spaces or even different interior rooms. For example, bifold doors between your lounge and dining area enhance your home's flow, making them a sought-after option for both modern and traditional styles. Aluminium's durability is another key benefit. It resists warping, corrosion, and wear, making these doors a long-lasting, low-maintenance investment. Additionally, the lightweight material ensures smooth and easy operation. Our aluminium bifold doors feature energy-efficient glazing as standard, keeping your home insulated year-round. By reducing heat loss, they help lower energy bills and minimise environmental impact. Choose from various customisable options, including colours, finishes, and configurations, to perfectly match your home's style.

SECURITY
Home security is perhaps the most important factor when you want to improve your home. At Massey, we share your concerns which is why we never compromise on the safety and security of our products. Our products undergo rigorous testing to ensure they meet the high-security standards the industry demands. All of our bifold doors are fitted with high-security multi-point locking systems as standard.
A traffic door is a conventional door built into a bifold door system. It opens separately from the bifold, so it can be used for access between inside and outside without having to open the whole set.
Replacement doors do not usually require planning permission, however, it’s always worth checking if you’re ever unsure. Using an accredited installer like us means we will take care of all of those concerns for you.
As bifold doors are created on a project-by-project basis, there is no standard cost. Get in touch with us for your free no-obligation quote.
If you would like a quote from us here at Massey for your next home improvement project, there a couple of ways you can do this. Simply pick the option that works best for your circumstances and we’ll help you out as best we can.
Option 1
If you aren’t familiar with double glazing costs, and you’re looking to receive a quick estimate without a house viewing, we would recommend you take some pictures of the areas you’d like a quote on and send them to us. Send these along with some estimated measurements and we’ll be happy to give you an estimated quote.
Option 2
For a more accurate quote, we can arrange to come and view the property and answer any questions you may have regarding our products and the installation process.
We will take a quick measurement ourselves and then provide you with an exact quote 1 – 2days later.
We are flexible with dates and will book your installation at a time that is convenient for you. An average timescale for our installations is 3-5 weeks.
After placing your order with us, we will look to book in a survey date at a time that suits you. One of the team will come and take a detailed survey of the work and go through the designs and details of all the windows and/or doors being replaced.
After the survey is complete, a copy of our contract, along with the survey, will be left with you to check and sign. Once that is signed, an invoice will be sent via email for 40% of the contract price. As soon as this is payed, we will go ahead and put your order through.
Once the order has had a chance to process, we will be back in touch to book your installation.
A final balance invoice will be sent to you before we arrive to install your windows.
Our installers will show you all the work once finished and how to care for your windows.
Once inspected, the final balance of invoice will need to be paid before the fitter’s leave site.
Once the work is complete and we have received the final balance, we will register your job with FENSA and you will receive your certificates through the post approximately 1 month later. These certificates will state how many window and doors you had installed and at what energy rating. They are crucial for when it comes to selling your home.
If an issue arises after installation, we aim to respond to you within a maximum of 1 day.
Issues will be dealt with promptly and with the same level of care as the installation.
Whether you reside in a contemporary home or a more traditional setting, we have a bifold door configuration to suit your style. If you want to create a sense of open-plan living, bifold doors will exceed your expectations.
